Here is our Lake Texoma fishing report for May 9th, 2022.
The elevation is 1.00 Ft above normal (Stable), water temp. 68°F and Stained. (USACE Lake Level)
Bass, Striped good on live shad, sassy shad, topwater lures around channels, coves, flats, main lake, points, and river channel.
Catfish, Blue fair on hot dogs, live bait, live shad, punch bait, stink bait, sunfish around dam (below), coves, docks, points.
Crappie, Black fair on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, docks, points, rocks, standing timber, weed beds.
Comments: Fishing this week has been good. Stripers are being caught north of the Roosevelt Bridge and south of the railroad bridge. Anywhere near a ledge from a channel in 30-35ft of water is good right now. Blue cats are being caught near channels on cut bait and live shad. Crappie are being caught near bush piles and logs in 3-20ft of water. They are being caught on jigs with power bait nibbles.
