Here at Lake Texoma, we enjoy riding our Can-Am Defender quite a bit. We do so just about every weekend. Sometimes we forget to turn off our lights or the radio, but so far, we’ve not yet wholly drained our battery to the where we couldn’t start our Defender.
But just in case we ever do, I’m not taking any chances. Thanks to JF.EWGO (sponsor-provided unit), we now have a 3400A jump starter that we take with us on all of our trips.

Specifications
Now that we have seen what’s included in the box, let’s look at the specifications of this 3400A jump starter.
One of the things I like about the JF EGWO is its size and portability. It is lightweight and easy to store in your vehicle, in our case, our Defender side-by-side.
The jump starter weighs a mere 2.5 lbs and measures 6.5 inches x 5.98 inches x 3.15 inches.
Electrical specifications are perfect for such a small unit.
- Starting current at its peak charge is 3,400 amps.
- Compatible with 12V vehicles.
- The internal battery is a Lithium Polymer Battery 18000mAh at 3.7V.
- DC Out: Max 15V⎓10A
- The operating temperature range is -40°F-140°F
In addition, you get two USB power banks which can be used to charge your mobile devices. On the side, you’ll find two very bright LED lights which operate in 3 different modes.
You can use them as a flashlight, as strobe lights, and make them flash an SOS signal.
Using the JF EGWO 3400A Jumper Starter
Using the jump start is surprisingly easy. Let me show you how to perform all the functions this jump starter allows.
Charging the Unit
To charge the unit, use either the AC wall charger or the DC vehicle charger. Plug the charger you want to use into the unit. The unit will take 4-6 hours to be 100% charged. The unit will stop charging at 100% to avoid a potential overcharge.
Please do not use the unit to recharge any device while recharging.
The unit is 100% charged when the words “IN” flash on display. If the unit displays 100%, do not unplug it until “IN” flashes on display.
Final Thoughts
Being out on trails with our Can-Am Defender and knowing we have a reliable jump starter is very comforting. The JFEWGO is an affordable and well-thought-out jump starter that you shouldn’t be without.
If you are looking for a 12V jump starter, you should consider this.
