Colt was super knowledgeable about Lake Texoma and the “shelves” where striper hang out in cooler temps. His boat was clean, his gear was in great shape and he gave thorough instructions. He called fellow charter guys to confirm where he thought the fish were and he was right! We had a great time - it goes by very fast when you’re catching fish. 🐟 Colt is fun and easy going. If you need an “executive level”‘ outing or need something for novice fishers, Colt is your guy.

Colt was awesome! He put us on stripers and some sandies. The fish weren't biting much so we had to work for our limit but we got it! We ran all over Texoma hunting em down! Thanks Colt, we'll be back for sure 👍

Took my son, my brother and stepfather on a trip and used Texoma Trips and Colt as our guide. This was my second trip with him and was just as great as the first trip. He goes the extra mile to make it a memorable experience, and is just a great guide. He is informative and knowledgeable about every aspect of the experience. He is very personable, and professional and truly enjoys what he does. He calls people by their name, doesn’t judge peoples knowledge or lack of in regards to fishing experience. He is very friendly and just makes you feel very comfortable, all while teaching little things about fishing. I have noticed that a lot of other guides call him, and ask him where he is, because both trips I’ve been on with him, he has put us on fish almost immediately. He cheers people on in regards to them catching the fish and is quick to offer a celebratory high 5. His equipment is well maintained and he has back ups so there’s never any delays caused by a backlashed reel or broken line. He uses great equipment, has a reliable nice big boat that you’d never know he made himself at his boat shop. What to expect from him: he provides fresh live shad for bait(usually), all rods and reels, he baits your hook and makes sure your bait is always alive and kicking, when you catch a fish, he gets it off the hook takes a picture of you holding it if it’s a big one, re-baits your hook, and keeps a good count of fish caught. He tells you exactly how deep to fish, and makes sure you get your moneys worth. After you catch your limit, when you return to the dock, he lays all of the fish out and takes pictures for memories, and offers you a beer or water at his dockside bar while he cleans and packages your fish, and does it all for an extremely fair price. You can expect to have a great time, no stress, and no pressure, and leave with plenty of meat and memories. Also, remember, it’s good manners to TIP YOUR GUIDE!!!
