Went striper fishing with John and let's just say the fish never stood a chance. He put us right on them, gave great tips, and somehow made 6am feel fun. Caught a ton, laughed even more. Boat was clean, gear was solid, and the guide was cooler than a Yeti full of beer. Highly recommend-unless you're a striper.

John was the best guide out in the water. He took us out directory to the spots. There were a lot of people around us fishing and he still navigated us nicely to ensure we caught fish. This style of fishing was a learning curve and different than I was used to. John helped understand what to look for and once we got the hang of it we couldn’t stop catching fish! We moved frequently from spot to spot as the stripers are always on the move. When John says “go” you better be ready because the fish will be in that one spot for a few minutes before it’s time to go to the next spot. Very active fishing and pretty fast pace.

Best fishing guide at lake texcoma came all the way from California to fish with John he did not disappoint at all super sweet boat very smooth on the water also very friendly and knowledgeable and even gave a quick tutorial on how to slab fish and use the top water jigging before we headed out on the lake I would recommend John to all my family and friends and anyone who wants to try out lake texcoma from beginner fishermen all the way to master fisherman thanks again John
